Here's Pat: "I am the owner and operator of Country Vitamins in Corvallis, Oregon since 1982. The store will be my retirement career but that is eons from now. I have and currently serve on the Natural Products Association board of directors since 2000 and was recently elected as it's next President. I will serve the next two years as the President, being sworn in at the July 2009 annual business meeting and convention . Natural Products Association, formerly the NNFA, is the nation's largest and oldest non-profit organization dedicated to the natural products industry. The Association represents an estimated 10,000 retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of natural products, including foods, dietary supplements, health/beauty aids, as well as the new innovative category of green or environmentally friendly products. The Natural Products Association is recognized for its lobbying presence in Washington, D.C., where it serves as the industry watchdog on regulatory and legislative matters. I also serve on the board of directors for the Corvallis Independent Business Alliance (CIBA), promoting family owned, locally owned businesses in our community."
