One of the wonderful things about my work is that I can be as effective working with you via a phone consultation as in person. I can also communicate with you via web cam if you prefer face-to-face contact and we cannot physically get together. Telephone technology is easy to work with and I can be as thoughtful and present when I am doing a phone consultation as when we are face-to-face. I can talk with you at any length.
I can work with you both ways of course. Sometimes we’ll have a face-to-face, but then we might need to talk on the phone as a follow up, or if one of us is travelling, or we just aren’t in physical proximity. It’s as easy to have a discussion on the phone as it is in person.
Sometimes you may feel an urgent need to have a session with me. The phone is an easy response to this need, depending on my overall schedule, of course. But I do try to make time for everyone the best I am able, and as soon as possible.
I also offer introductory phone consultations where we can get to know each other a bit in a 15-minute conversation. The purpose of these discussions is for both of us to learn whether we can work together productively. These 15-minute phone consultations are not for directly solving your current issue, but to outline what the issue is, whether trauma, illness, a life transition, depression, anxiety, or other issue, and for me to explain what I can do to be of assistance.
If the introductory 15-minute phone conversation turns into a longer conversation, then appropriate consulting charges will apply.
You do not have to be in the same room with me to experience the effects of my work. I do phone consultations of any length and you can be anywhere in the world that has a phone or computer. I can work with any problem just as effectively as if you were sitting in the chair across from me. Contact me by filling out the quick registration form and I will contact you to set up a time for your introductory phone consultation.
Phone Counseling is one of many Healing Services that can be used in Individual Counseling, or Family Counseling, often using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
